In this article, I’ll share how to prepare bajji mixture street style. It is famous street food in andhra and telangana. And this is one of my favourite snacks. Can be served as tea time snack.
Main ingredient is mirchi bajji and puffed rice. It is a mixture of some spices which are easily available at home. You can give it a try after reading this post. You will love this snack. And if you try this pls let me know the feedback in the comment section.

Ingredients Required
- Green Chillies – 7 or 8 for preparing bajji
- Ajwain coarsely grinded powder
- Besan – 1cup
- Salt- 1tbsp
- Red chilli powder -1/2tsp
- Cooking Soda – 1tsp
- Oil – for deep fry
- Onion – 1
- Tomato – 1
- Lemon – 3 or 4 based on taste
- Peanuts – handful or 1/2cup
- Coriander leaves
- Chat masala – 1/2tsp (optional)
- Murmure – 1cup
Preparation
- Cut Green chillies vertically
- Insert coarsely grinded powder into mirchi and keep them aside
- Add besan to a mixing bowl
- Add salt, cooking soda and mix all together to thick batter consistency
- Now add oil for deep fry
- Dip green chilles in the batter and drop them into hot oil
- Prepare all bajjis and keep aside
- Fry peanuts in the same oil and keep them aside
- Chop them into pieces
- Now add chopped onion , tomato, bajjis, salt, red chilli powder, fried peanuts into a mixing bowl and mix all together
- Add lemon juice extracted from 3 or 4 lemons(based on your taste) and mix
- Add murmure and mix
- Add chat masala(optional), garnish with coriander leaves
