Carrot Halwa

                               

In this article, I’ll share how to prepare carrot halwa. 

This traditional carrot halwa recipe is made with only whole or full-fat milk, ghee and sugar. You can use any carrots – red, orange or black. But just make sure they are not fibrous, stringy and hard.

Ingredients Required
  • Carrot – 2
  • Sugar – 100gm
  • Dry fruits- cashews, almonds
  • Milk – 1/4litre
Preparation
  1. Chop carrot into medium pieces
  2. Add them into cooker, add 3tbsp water and cook for 4 whistles
  3. 4whistles later open lid and mash carrots
  4. Now turn on the stove and add sugar and mix, let sugar dissolve completely
  5. Now add milk and cook carrot in milk for 8 to 10min
  6. Finally add chopped dry fruits and mix
  7. Carrot halwa is ready to serve
