In this article, I’ll share how to prepare carrot halwa.
This traditional carrot halwa recipe is made with only whole or full-fat milk, ghee and sugar. You can use any carrots – red, orange or black. But just make sure they are not fibrous, stringy and hard.

Ingredients Required
- Carrot – 2
- Sugar – 100gm
- Dry fruits- cashews, almonds
- Milk – 1/4litre
Preparation
- Chop carrot into medium pieces
- Add them into cooker, add 3tbsp water and cook for 4 whistles
- 4whistles later open lid and mash carrots
- Now turn on the stove and add sugar and mix, let sugar dissolve completely
- Now add milk and cook carrot in milk for 8 to 10min
- Finally add chopped dry fruits and mix
- Carrot halwa is ready to serve
