In this article, I’ll share how to prepare chicken fry. Spicy chicken fry that taste amazing. Great as appetizer and this spicy chicken fry makes a great appetizer. Totally addictive. This chicken fry turns out so juicy and delicious.
There are probably thousands of different variations to an easy chicken fry recipe including what you can add to the marinade, the quantity of spices, whether you use pepper powder or not, etc.
A good chicken fry is like a balm to the non-vegetarian soul. Very few things can be as comforting an addition to some rice and dal. I recommend making a very simple onion salad as a side to this because raw onions and lemon go really well with the spices added to this dish.

Ingredients Required
- Chicken – 400gms
- Onion – 2 chopped
- Green chillies – 3 sliced
- Ginger garlic paste – 2tbsp
- Salt – 2tbsp
- Red chilli powder – 2tbsp
- Coriander powder – 1tbsp
- Jeera powder – 1/2tbsp
- Garam masala – 1tbsp
- Masala spices – available
- Curd – 2tbsp
- Oil – 3tbsp
- Curry leaves
- Coriander leaves
Preparation
- Add cleaned chicken into a mixing bowl
- Add salt, red chilli powder, ginger garlic paste, curd, coriander powder, jeera powder, garam masala and mix all together
- Marinate for about 20mins to half an hour
- Half an hour later Add oil to heated pan
- Add masala spices available (cloves, cinnamon, elachi etc)
- Add chopped onion and mirchi and fry till onion changes colour
- Add marinated chicken and mix all together
- Close lid and cook till chicken is cooked perfectly
- Saute in the middle 3 to 4 times
- 10mins later chicken will be cooked properly
- Now turn flame to high and cook till chicken is fried properly
- Saute frequently
- Finally add curry leaves and coriander leaves
