In this article, I’ll share how to prepare Kalakand.
This is a two ingredient quick and tasty kalakand (milk cake) recipe in 30 minutes. Kalakand is a rich milk cake. one of the popular Indian sweets. The traditional way of making kalakand sweet is a long one and takes some time. Milk is curdled a bit with the use of lemon or vinegar and simmered on a low flame till it thickens considerably. There are other methods too of making kalakand.

Ingredients Required
- Milk – 1 litre
- Sugar – 3/4cup
- Vinegar – 1/2tsp or 1 lemon
Preparation
- Add 1 litre milk to a pan and boil till it reduces to half litre or even more less
- Meanwhile grease a plate with ghee and keep aside
- Add vinegar or lemon into milk after it reduced to half, so that milk curdles
- Keep stirring
- Add sugar and mix
- Keep mixing till it separates from pan
- Transfer into ghee greased plate and set into square shape
- Garnish with badam
- Let rest for half an hour
- Cut into pieces and sweet is ready to serve
