In this article, I’ll share how to prepare lemon pickle easy way. Indian cuisine is known for its strong flavour profile. Most of the dishes are prepared using strong spices to add that flavour and aroma. If the food is not spicy, we include things like a pickle in our diet for that added flavour.

Ingredients Required
  • Lemon – 1/2kg
  • Salt- 125gms
  • Raw Red chilli powder – 125gms
  • Fenugreek seeds – 2tbsp
  • Garlic – 1 full cloves
Preparation
  1. Clean lemon properly with water, dry them completely
  2. Now Cut lemon into 4 pieces
  3. Add salt and mix with lemon pieces
  4. Close lid and leave it for 4days
  5. 4th day remove all lemon seeds and add raw red chilli powder and mix
  6. Add 2tbsp fenugreek seeds to a heated pan and fry for 2min till colour changes
  7. Add fried fenugreek seeds and garlic cloves into mixi jar and grind to fine paste
  8. Add this paste to chutney and mix
  9. You can mix 2 or 3 lemons squeezed if you don’t have perfect sour taste
