In this article, I’ll share how to prepare paneer bhurji.
Bhurji means scrambled so this dish is basically scrambled paneer or cottage cheese. A perfectly savory, tangy, spiced mixture made of onions, tomatoes, ginger-garlic paste, green chillies (hot peppers) and various spices is then used to mix with the scrambled paneer.
You can say that is the vegetarian version of the Indian Style scrambled eggs which is called as Egg Bhurji or Anda Bhurji in Hindi. You can check more Paneer Recipes also.

Ingredients Required
- Paneer – 250gms
- Oil – 2tbsp
- Cumin seeds – 2tsp
- Curry leaves
- Onion – 1
- Green chillies – 2
- Tomato -1
- Ginger garlic paste – 1/2tsp
- Salt – 1tsp
- Red chilli powder – 1tsp
- Garam masala – 1tsp
Preparation
- Grate paneer and keep aside
- Add oil to heated pan
- Add cumin seeds and curry leaves and fry
- Add chopped onion and mirchi and fry till onion colour changes
- Add ginger garlic paste and fry for 2mins
- Add chopped tomato and cook perfectly
- Now add salt, red chilli powder, garam masala and mix all together
- Now add grated paneer and mix
- Ready to serve
