In this article, I’ll share how to prepare Semiya Kesari.
It is a classic indian dessert recipe prepared mainly with vermicelli, ghee and sugar with dry fruits topping. the recipe is an adaptation to the popular rava kesari recipe without much difference to recipe steps, but with vermicelli instead of rava. this noodle-based dessert is often served for breakfast.
It is very simple process that anyone can make easily. Lets get started the recipe. I am sharing my Youtube video here so it would be easy for you to follow.
Ingredients Required
- Vermicelli – 2cup
- Dry Fruits – cashews, kismis
- Ghee – 2tbsp
- Sugar – 1 n 1/2cup
- Water – 4cups
Preparation
- Add ghee to heated pan
- Fry dry fruits and keep aside
- To the same pan, if needed add ghee
- Add 2 cups vermicelli(semiya) and fry for 4 to 5mins and keep aside
- Add 4cups water and let boil
- Add fried semiya and cook well
- Add sugar and cook for 5mins in medium heat
- Semiya kesari is ready to serve
