In this article, I’ll share how to prepare Sweetcorn fried rice.
It is an easy and simple lunch box recipe which can be prepared with leftover rice and with any choice of vegetables. This sweet corn fried recipe which is not only easy to prepare, but tastes amazing.
You can use desi corn or American sweet corn. Both variety taste good in this recipe. Lets check out this recipe. I am sharing my Youtube video here so it would be easy for you to follow.
Ingredients
- Sweet corn – 1pc
- Chopped carrot-1 no
- Oil-1tbsp
- Ghee-1tbsp
- Green chillies- 2 no
- Onion-1 no
- Cooked rice (normal or basmathi) – 2cups
- Vinegar -1tbsp
- Chilli sauce -1tbsp
- Soya sauce-1tbsp
- Salt- 2tsp or based on your taste
Preparation
- Remove sweet corn off the cob
- Add sweet corn to cooker, 1/2 cup water and cook till 2 whistles
- Add 1tbsp oil, 1tbsp ghee to heated pan
- Add chopped onion and green chillies, fry in medium flame
- Add chopped carrot and fry till onion and carrot is fried properly
- Add boiled sweet corn and fry for 4 to 5mins
- Add 1tbsp vinegar,1tbsp chilli sauce, 1tbsp soya sauce and fry for 2mins
- Now add cooked rice and mix
- Add required salt and mix
- Finally garnish with coriander leaves
- Sweet corn fried rice is ready to serve
