In this article, I’ll share how to prepare wheat flour jaggery cake easy way.
Whole Wheat Jaggery Cake-Healthy Wheat Cake is a moist and healthy cake prepared with whole wheat flour and jaggery. This is very easy to make and taste very delicious. As this cake is healthy without maida or refined sugar, you can enjoy it any time without any guilt.

Ingredients
- Wheat Flour – 1 Cup
- Jaggery – 3/4th cup,water-2tbsp
- Oil – 1/2 cup
- Milk – 1/2 cup
- Curd – 1/2 cup
- Dry Fruits – Handful chopped for garnish
- Baking Soda – A pinch
- Vanilla essence – 4 or 5 drops
For Baking
- Sand or Salt- 1 Cup
- Butter Paper (optional)
Method
- Add 3/4th cup jaggery and 2tbsp water into a pan and let jaggery melt completely and keep aside.
- Now take a mixi jar and add 1cup wheat flour, melted jaggery water, oil, milk, curd, baking soda, vanilla essence and grind to fine paste
- Now to another bowl add handful of dry fruits chopped and add 2tbsp wheat flour and mix them.
- Add dry fruits coated with flour into the grounded batter and mix by rotating in same direction
For Baking
- Take 1cup sand or salt into a cooker close with lid and preheat for 10mins
- Now spread oil and flour in the cake mould, so that after baked it will de-mould easily( You Can use butter paper also )
- Now Add grinded batter into cake mould, and tap once to remove air bubbles.
- Add some dry fruits on the top for garnish
- Insert mould into cooker, close lid and cook for 25mins or it is cooked completely in low to medium heat. Time is based on the flame and the grinded batter consitency.
- To check whether it is cooked add insert tooth pick on the cake and check it
- 25mins later off the stove and let cool for sometime
- Now healthy wheat flour cake with jaggery is ready to serve.
