Mango Custard - A summer special recipe. In summer we want to eat something cool and fresh to bear the summer heat. Custard is the dessert of choice in parties and marriages. It is very refreshing and is packed with the goodness of milk which has calcium and protein. It is popular in any age group. You can also make Fruit Custard.

Mango Custard is the perfect way to use the king of fruit. This recipe covers the Indian way of making the custard. It is a good dessert to impress your guests and is perfect for summer. The use of dry nuts such as almonds, pistachio or cashew nut will give an additional crunch to the mango custard.

Ingredients
  • Milk - 1/2 litre
  • Custard powder - 1 1/2tbsp
  • Sugar - 3/4th cup(Total)
  • Mango - 1
Preparation
  1. Boil 1/2 litre milk. In that 1/2 lire take out 3tbsp milk, we need it to mix with custard power.
  2. Meanwhile add custard powder and 3tbsp milk into a bowl, mix and keep it aside.
  3. Now add 1/4th cup sugar into milk and let sugar dissolve completely.
  4. Add custard water and boil till it gets thick consistency.
  5. Then turn off the stove and let it cool till it reaches room temperature.
  6. Now peel off the layer for mango and cut into medium size pieces. 
  7. Add custard milk, chopped mangoes into mixi jar and blend to thick paste.
  8. Refrigerate for 2hrs.
  9. Finally before serving garnish with chopped small mango pieces, chopped dry fruits.
  10. Mango Custard is ready to serve.
