Palak Paneer is a popular Indian dish. This delicious creamy dish is made with fresh spinach leaves, paneer, onions, tomatoes and spices. This delicious palak paneer goes well with roti, naan, paratha or tandoori roti. Or serve it with jeera or biryani rice, saffron or ghee rice.

Ingredients Required
- Paneer - 200gm
- Palak - 2 bunches
- Onion -2
- Tomato- 2
- Cloves -2
- Cinnamon -2
- Cashews – 5 or 6
- Elachi -2
- Ginger – small piece
- Kasuri methi – 1tbsp
- Fresh Cream – 2tbsp
- Kashmiri red chilli powder – 1tbsp
- Garlic – 6 or 7 cloves
- Salt – 2tsp or based on your taste
- Coriander powder- 1tsp
- Garam masala – 1/2tsp
Preparation
- Add palak into a pan, close lid and cook.
- Mix in between so that it cooks prefectly.
- Turn off the stove and let it cool completely.
- Now add a tbsp butter or oil.
- Add cubed onions, elachi, cinnamon, cloves and fry for a minute.
- Add garlic cloves, ginger, cashews and fry for a minute.
- Now add chopped tomatoes and cook till tomatoes are cooked perfectly.
- Off the stove and let it cool completely to grind it.
- Now add to mixi jar and grind to fine paste.
- Then grind cooked palak into fine paste and keep it aside.
- Add 3tbsp butter or oil to a heated pan
- Add kashmiri red chilli powder and fry for a minute
- Add grounded cashews masala paste and saute for a minute.
- Now add palak paste and cook till oil separates.
- Now add salt, turmeric and cook for 3mins
- Now add coriander powder and garam masala and mix
- Add 1/4th cup water and cook for 5mins
- Add cubed paneer and mix
- Add crushed kasuri methi, fresh cream and mix. If fresh cream is not available then whisk curd for a minute to get creamy paste and add it.
- Finally restaurant style palak paneer is ready to serve.
- Enjoy with roti, chapathi, pulka.
