In this recipe post I'm sharing ribbon pakoda. It is a delicious variation of murukku and is also known as ribbon murukku.These crisp fried ribbon shaped savory snack is easy to prepare and tastes good too.
Normally this snack is prepared in Indian homes and can be stored for 10 to 15days. Mostly for festivals like sankranthi, dussehra etc, this snack is commonly prepared along with Boondhi Mithai, Uraddal Murukku.

Ingredients Required
- Besan Flour - 3cups
- Rice Flour - 4cups
- Butter - 2tsp
- Salt - 2tbsp
- Red Chilli powder - 2tbsp
- Ajwain - 1tsp
- Oil for deep fry
Preparation
- Add besan flour and rice flour by sieving in to a bowl.
- Mix both flours
- Add butter and mix.
- Now add salt and raw red chilli powder, ajwain and mix.
- Mix and get it to chapathi dough consistency.
- Let rest for 5mins, meanwhile ready chakli maker by applying oil.
- Now add oil for deep fry on the stove.
- Add some dough into chakli maker and prepare ribbon pakodas.
