In this article, let us see how to prepare Summer Special Semiya Ice.
These popsicles are very popular in various parts of India as a much loved summer specials. Whenever I think about recipes with vermicelli and milk, the very basic items that comes to my mind are Semiya Kheer & Semiya Kesari. Basically, these semiya ice popsicles are frozen vermicelli pudding. In short, this is another interesting way to enjoy your favorite pudding.
For preparing this ice You need kulfi maker or ice cream maker. You can buy them easily from amazon. You can check out below products

Ingredients Required
- Vermicelli(Semiya) -2tbsp
- Milk - 1/2 litre
- Corn Flour - 1 1/2tbsp
Preparation
- Firstly boil some water and add 2tbsp semiya in cook it. Mostly it takes just 3 to 4mins.
- Them add cooked semiya into a strainer and add cool water on it. So that semiya wont stick to one another.
- Now boil 1/2 litre full cream milk and boil
- Meanwhile add corn flour into a small bowl, add water and mix and keep it aside.
- After milk is boiled, add this corn flour water into milk and boil.
- At this stage add 3tbsp sugar so that it dissolves in milk, i'm not adding sugar i'll add honey at the end.
- After adding corn flour keep mixing and boil till it gets slight thick consistency.
- Turn off the stove and let it cool for sometime.
- After it is cooled completely, add cooked semiya and mix.
- As i'm using honey now i mixed honey also. If u added sugar in the starting just miss this step.
- Now mix everything together and add them into kulfi maker or ice cream maker.
- Chill for minimum 8hrs or overnight.
- 8hrs later semiya ice is ready to serve.
