Egg Fried Rice | Restaurant Style Egg Fried Rice

 


Egg Fried Rice - The most easiest and tastiest fried rice made with scrambled egg and some veggies. Here I added only carrot, you can add veggies of your choice. It tastes same as restaurant style egg fried rice. Very easy to make, and tastes good. Normally in restaurants they add tasting salt.

But here we don't add any extra ingredients, but its tastes great. All the ingredients mostly are readily available ingredients. I made this egg fried rice with oil, you can make with ghee too. So now lets checkout the ingredients.

Ingredients Required
  • Oil - 4tbsp
  • Eggs - 4
  • Basmathi rice - 1cup (250gm)
  • Salt - 3tsp
  • Black pepper powder - 2tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste - 1tsp
  • Onion - 1
  • Green chillies - 3(optional)
  • Carrot - 1
  • Soya Sauce - 1tsp(optional)
  • Water - 3cups or more

Preparation

1. Add 1 cup basmathi rice into a bowl.


2. Wash basmathi rice with water twice.


3. Add water and let soak for 20mins. This time is minimum for basmathi rice to soak. Then it will cook properly.


4. 20mins later heat some water(no particular quantity). 


5. Add salt into water. We need to add more salt than required. As we added more water than required. Water should be little salty. Then when the rice is cooked salt will be perfect for rice. Here I'm adding rock salt, you can add normal salt too..


6. Add 5 to 6 drops of oil. By adding oil into water, rice cooks perfectly without grains sticking each other.


7. Let water start bubbling. This process takes 5 to 6mins in high heat.


8. Then add soaked basmathi rice into hot water.


9. Cook till rice is cooked 90%. Grain should break easily and ready to eat as shown below.


10. Transfer rice into strainer and keep aside.


11. Add oil into heated pan. You can make with ghee too.


12. Add 4 eggs into oil. I added 4 eggs you can add more if you like.


13. Scramble egg 


14. Add 1/4th tsp salt (required for egg)


15. Add 1/4th tsp pepper powder (required for egg)


16. Mix all together and let fry for 2 to 3mins.
17. Turn off the stove and transfer egg into a bowl and keep aside.


18. Add oil into heated pan.

19. Add chopped onion, green chillies, ginger garlic paste. 


20. Saute and fry till onion is transparent.


21. Then add chopped carrot. Carrot should be added before onion is fried, so that both will be fried at a time. 


22. Mix all together and add salt required for onion and carrot, as we already added for eggs and rice.



23. Fry till carrot and onion are fried completely.


24. Add little soya sauce and saute for 2 to 3mins in medium heat.


25. Now add cooked rice.


26. While mixing add pepper powder required for rice, as we already added in eggs.


27. Mix all together and finally add scrambled eggs.


28. Mix all together and restaurant style egg fried rice is ready to serve.
